Welcome to Kebites! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, www.kebites.com, and the purchase of our marinated meats and marination products. By using our site and creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Becoming a Customer

1.1 To place an order, you must be over 18 years old, have a delivery address within our coverage area in the UK, and use a valid credit or debit card in your name.
1.2 We reserve the right to decline any order or suspend your account at our discretion.
1.3 These Terms apply when you place an order with us.

2. Your Account

2.1 You may create an online account to simplify your orders. This account will provide you with a username and password.
2.2 You are responsible for all activities on your account. Keep your login details confidential and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
2.3 Ensure your account information is accurate and up to date. Notify us of any changes promptly.
2.4 Review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your personal information.
2.5 We retain your personal information as long as you are a registered customer.

3. Contract

3.1 After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email listing your marinated meats and marination products, prices, and delivery details. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order. A legally binding contract is formed only upon delivery of the goods.
3.2 If you enter incorrect details and do not receive a confirmation email, it is your responsibility to contact us and correct the information. We are not responsible for incorrect details or issues caused by your email service provider.

4. Amending or Canceling the Contract

4.1 Orders are dispatched on the same or next day. You have a 1-hour window from the time of order to amend or cancel it.
4.2 If you cancel your order after the cut-off time but before delivery, you may be charged in full, including any delivery costs.
4.3 To cancel, email us at kebitesmarinades@gmail.com within the 1-hour window, including your order number and delivery address.
4.4 If items are unavailable, we will notify you and offer a replacement, full refund, or voucher.

5. Price and Delivery Charges

5.1 Prices are as quoted on our website at checkout and include VAT and any applicable taxes.
5.2 Free delivery is available for orders over £70. Orders below this value incur a £7.99 delivery charge.
5.3 If you amend your order before the cut-off time to increase the quantity of items, the price for additional items will be the price quoted at the time of the original order. For new items, the price will be the current rate.
5.4 We will charge the total cost, including any delivery or packaging fees, to your debit or credit card at the time of order.

6. Delivery

6.1 We aim to deliver within the next-day timeframe.
6.2 As our products are perishable, it is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept delivery. We are not liable for losses due to failed delivery attempts.
6.3 If no one is available, we will leave instructions on where to collect your package.
6.4 We disclaim liability for deliveries left unattended. DPD will notify you via email and SMS. We cannot control delivery timings set by DPD.
6.5 If delivery is refused or not accepted, we cannot offer a free replacement.
6.6 For delivery to remote areas (e.g., Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland), contact us for potential surcharges. We cannot deliver to the Channel Islands.
6.7 Additional charges may apply for orders requiring multiple parcels.
6.8 Delivery may be delayed due to extreme weather or other uncontrollable events. In such cases, we will contact you to reschedule delivery. Our liability is limited to the price of the goods and delivery cost.
6.9 We do not offer packaging in quantities less than 1kg.
6.10 Orders are delivered by DPD or Royal Mail Parcelforce. Delivery timings are determined by them. We are not responsible for changes to these timings.

7. If You Are Dissatisfied

7.1 We guarantee the quality of our marinated meats and marination products. Inspect them upon delivery and inform us immediately if you are dissatisfied.
7.2 Complaints about service will be reviewed by our customer service team, and we aim to respond within 1 working day.
7.3 Complaints about product quality will be forwarded to our Head Butcher. Please retain the product for review. We will respond within 1 working day with our findings.
7.4 Due to the perishable nature of our products, returns are not accepted. However, we may offer a Kebites voucher for unsatisfactory items at our discretion.
7.5 You can delete your account and personal information via the account dashboard. Historical order details will remain for processing purposes.

8. What We Will Not Be Liable For

8.1 We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses or loss of profits arising from our supply or failure to supply marinated products.
8.2 We are not liable for death or personal injury resulting from our breach of contract, tort, or negligence.
8.3 Some products may contain allergens. It is your responsibility to review product information. Contact us for further details on allergens.
8.4 We are not liable for special losses if you use, distribute, or resell our marinated products as part of a business.
8.5 Our liability ends once goods are delivered to the address or secure place specified in your order.
8.6 Ensure perishable goods are refrigerated immediately upon receipt. We are not liable for deterioration if goods are moved or transported by you or a third party.
8.7 Due to the nature of some products, weights may vary. We strive to meet weight expectations but will not accept liability for discrepancies.
8.8 We strive for uninterrupted website access but cannot guarantee it. Access may be restricted for repairs or maintenance.

9. Account Deletion

9.1 You can delete your account by clicking the delete button in your account dashboard.
9.2 After account deletion, all personal details except your email will be removed. Order details will remain for processing and will be removed from backup data within one month.

10. General

10.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us. Failure to enforce any rights does not prejudice our entitlement to enforce them in the future.
10.2 We are not liable for delays or failures beyond our reasonable control.
10.3 We may change our website, policies, and Terms at any time, but this will not affect the Terms in place at the time of purchase.
10.4 While we aim for accuracy in product descriptions and pricing, we are not liable for inaccuracies. Colors and shapes may vary.
10.5 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
